The auto attendant or IVR (Interactive Voice Response) is a simple and extremely flexible tool for managing incoming call flows. It makes business processes more efficient and improves communication with customers and suppliers.

For every incoming call, the caller is greeted by a prerecorded message, which can vary according to the date and time. The message offers one or more choices, which can be selected by pressing the phone keys (0 to 9). After the choice, the call can be routed to a single phone or to a group of extensions with different ringing strategies (all at once, one after another or in random order).

Each auto attendant can also be configured with multilevel trees (e.g. call center).

This tool, easily configured by the user, makes it possible to improve incoming call flows without the need for structural investments.

A typical example might be: "Welcome. Press 1 to speak with Administration, 2 for Sales, 3 for Support, etc."
